Game Development powerhouse Bethesda may be bringing a few surprises our way with their future releases, after Fallout 4 and Skyrim director Todd Howard teases fans.

Todd Howard was speaking at yesterday’s 2016 DICE Summit and was given a straight question – what are Bethesda working on next? His answer probably surprised most. Of course, he did not reveal anything specific, but what he did suggest is that no big sequal is currently a priority, and instead three “big and crazy” projects, different to anything Bethesda have done before, are in the works.

“We have three longer-term projects we’re doing that are all…we’ll talk about them at a much future date,” he said. “But they’re different than anything we’ve done before while also being a Bethesda-style game; big and crazy. But in many ways different than things we’ve done before.”

Let the speculation commence! It’s unlikely they’ve bagged the rights to create the next Goat Simulator, but something different from Bethesda is always going to be worth keeping an eye on! Watch this space.
